AIIMS Bhubaneswar MUN is a two day event which will start on 22nd July, 2023 and end on 23rd July, 2023.

ABMUN 2023 offers positions such as Delegate, Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, and International Press (IP) for aspiring participants to engage in meaningful discussions, lead committees, support chairpersons, and explore journalism within the MUN context. 1. Delegate: Embody a country or individual, advocate for their interests, and shape discussions in committee sessions. 2. Chairperson: Lead committee deliberations with poise, uphold protocols, and guide delegates towards constructive resolutions. 3. Vice Chairperson: Support the chairperson in maintaining order, facilitating debates, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. 4. International Press (IP): Capture the essence of ABMUN 2023 through articles, photographs and press releases, illuminating the conference's voices and narratives.

There is no registration fee for the participants applying as Chairperson/ Vice Chairperson or Member of International Press (IP). The registration fee for the participants applying as Delegates is: ₹999/- [early bird offer for first 50 seats] (exclusive of the transaction fee); ₹1199 [ late-bird offer].

ABMUN shall unfold its captivating essence in the offline realm, within the enchanting embrace of AIIMS Bhubaneswar's beautiful campus.

You are allowed to choose your preferences but you'll be allotted your committee based on your previous MUN experience and motivation.

The choice of committee in which you wish to participate is a decision of paramount importance, for it determines the sphere of influence and the issues you shall engage with during the MUN. To make an informed choice, consider your interests, knowledge, and areas of expertise. Reflect upon global affairs that captivate your curiosity and align with your passions. Assess the committee's agenda and its relevance to your desired learning outcomes. Additionally, contemplate the level of challenge you seek and the opportunity for personal growth. Position Papers: Craft a well-structured position paper outlining your country's stance, proposed solutions, and supporting evidence. Public Speaking and Diplomacy: Practice delivering persuasive speeches and refine your negotiation and diplomacy skills through mock debates and simulations. Collaborative Skills: Build relationships with fellow delegates, form alliances, and seek consensus-building opportunities. Familiarize with MUN Procedures: Understand the rules of procedure, submission guidelines for draft resolutions, and the process for participating in formal debates. Dress and Etiquette: Adhere to professional dress code and maintain decorum throughout the conference. On the other hand, caucusing is an informal session where delegates engage in collaborative discussions, negotiation, and consensus-building.
